WhatsApp Business Users Slowly Get Access to Paid Subscription

The latest WhatsApp Beta for Android finally gives us a glance at what the premium subscription may be. And the peek is a bit underwhelming: the features are scarce and don’t look that premium. Yet it’s just the beginning, and the beta status only contributes to the benefit of a doubt that this initiative may enjoy so far.

If you are on the WhatsApp beta for Android, and you are ready to try the Premium among the first, you can do it with a little luck. It’s not clear when Premium features will make it to the release version and appear, say, on iOS or WhatsApp Web. The app for Android already has the Premium menu, though it’s not as functional as some might want it to.

So, what does one get with Premium? The list won’t be long (don’t forget it’s still the beta). Premium subscribers will receive a customizable contact link that they can share wherever they want. This link can be changed after three months (though during the first three months, Meta may come with something new, so you won’t spend them just waiting for the chance to finally use your Premium again). Another feature is the ability to keep up to 10 devices connected to the same account, allowing employees to contact multiple customers at the same time.

Unlike, say, Telegram Premium that offers an array of features catering to a regular user (like more cloud storage or custom stickers), WhatsApp Premium will rather be business oriented. So, regular WhatsApp users will hardly see any reason to pay for the subscription, Business users, on the contrary, will eventually find a lot of opportunities to up their game with these abilities.

What do you think about WhatsApp premium features? If you’re using WA Beta for Android, have you already discovered and explored these? Is subscription worth it in your case? We’d like to read your response in the comments!
