Hinglish Is Now on Google Pay Support

Google Pay is used by millions of people worldwide. Now, this app officially supports Hinglish – a mix between English and Hindi, which is common in many regions on Earth. Since it tightly works with the National Payments Corporation of India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI), this addition seems like the right decision. Currently, Google Pay is available in nine languages with Hinglish.
You can access this change if you have installed the latest version of Google Pay on your iOS or Android device. Many users have already noted the addition in their apps. Those who use English or Hindi have been proposed to choose the languages according to their preference.
The process of setting a new language is not so complicated. You need to get the latest update and then go to your Profile, Settings, and Personal info. Through the Language tab, you will see official versions, and Hinglish is located tight there now too.
When you set Hinglish as your language, you can see that all of the options are still in the Latin alphabet because this conversational hybrid includes Hindi words with the said script. The addition of Hinglish was announced back in 2021 during Google for India presentation. The users were told the arrival of the new language would be in early 2022, as it happened. The company sees this update as a positive change for more than 350 million people.
As of now, Google Pay supports nine languages on Android and iOS: English, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Telugu, and of course, Hinglish. Google Pay is the first app that implemented a hybrid language, and it gives opportunities for other companies to follow its steps.
What language do you prefer to use on Google Pay? Are you familiar with Hinglish? Please, share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
