Facebook Introduces Reactions on Reels

Facebook is busy with producing reactions that users can add to the Reels they are watching. While you can easily express your emotions on Stories, it is still hard to share your thoughts with Reels creators. There are now reactions to the short videos that are becoming popular on Facebook. The company is trying to fix the problem in a short time.

While some Facebook critics continue to call reactions a useless idea, others can’t wait to see more emojis they can send to the creators of Reels. Facebook developers are busy with new emojis they will add to Reels. No matter what you believe in, let’s admit that emojis are the simplest way to reveal your emotions about a small video.

The number of emojis you can use on Reels will be limited to seven. Yet, it may be enough for the first time. Users will be able to pick the reaction they need for the video. Since Reels are short videos, it is complicated to write a long letter of support to the user who posted it in a limited time. For now, all you can do is like the Reel on both Facebook and Instagram. It is a nice option, considering that you don’t have any others. However, seven new emojis sound more advanced.

You will be able to support your favorite content creator with more feelings. For example, when you see the video with the dog hurting its leg, it is more appropriate to send a crying or angry emoji, than to press like. It offers more engagement and the effect of your support. If you want to express compassion, like is not an option at all. While it may sound less important as an improvement of security, we can at least try the new feature. Perhaps Facebook will extend the number of emojis in the future.
