Camel Mob About to Be Added to Minecraft
24 Oct 2022
The camel is a new mob that will be rolled out as part of the epic sandbox’s 1.2 update. It was revealed by Mojang during the yearly broadcast, along with other game features, iconic character introduction, new default skins, and enhanced gameplay. Keep reading for more details on this new mob.
Minecraft already features a few mounts. Horses, llamas, donkeys, pigs, and striders are among them. Horses are the most popular because they grant the players the possibility to move fast across the game’s environment. By incorporating the camel, however, the devs introduce unique mechanics, which is sure to amaze the Minecraft players with brand new mount adventures and the possibility to explore the game in an excitingly different way. With all that said, chances are the rideable camel will overpower horses feature-wise.
On October 19, a new screenshot leaked featuring the first glimpse of the camel and other forthcoming 1.2 update goodies. That allowed for an in-depth mob examination. So, what exactly is so special about this mob?
First, it’s among the tallest mobs of the entire overhaul. That’s particularly useful in the desert biome where mobs can easily notice you and attack you in the blink of an eye. Ride the camel and most of the game’s hostile creatures won’t be able to hurt you (they’ll simply fail to reach you).
Second, camels come with the dash feature which allows you to outrun potential threats e.g., skeletons and creepers. In addition to this, camels are cute and smiling, so they are sure to win your heart.
Cutting to the chase, the camel mob has the potential to make the somewhat generic Minecraft desert biome truly shine. So, have you already seen the soon-to-be-released camel mod? Isn’t it a cutie?
